Buddhadatta are a Japanese Buddhist rock band blending punk with Buddhist tones. Using throat singing and driving rhythms they present live in full Buddhist costume with songs based on Buddhist sutras.
This exciting band has wowed stages across Australia, Taiwan, Japan and beyond with a live show that engages audiences to dance, always being called encores.
After selling out a split LP (and boxes and boxes of t-shirts), the band is currently touring Australia with their first full length LP.
Now this is the record that Buddhadatta will have on their debut European tour this September / October
